I know right. I love me. God loves me, and that’s what truly counts. As long as you love yourself and it’s rooted in God’s eternal love for you, then you’ve found home. Keep rocking your low cut girl💛🔥
I can relate to this so much!🥹🙈....especially the part where you mentioned that you deflect compliments and feel people are just being nice (those have been my exact thoughts for the longest time🙈) Honestly, at this time, it isn't so easy to receive compliments nowadays...I still cringe sometimes, though at other times, I welcome them wholeheartedly😊. I can safely say that I'm healing but I realize that I need to be more conscious about the truths in scripture regarding God's love for me.
Sending you warm hugs Emily💛Isn’t it incredible that, despite being miles apart, we can find comfort and connection through these words? I’m grateful that you’re healing and discovering your eternal worth in Jesus—where it truly lasts.
This thing about societal beauty standards are so strange and annoying.
These days, everyone is trying to look the same way, in the next 5 or 10 years, the standards would have changed.
If we keep trying to adjust to societal beauty standards, we may never truly find our authentic self and get to love on them there by leaving us to a life of hypocrisy with ourselves especially and a falsified version of us to our world.
Thank you sis for sharing.
If Christ says I am beautiful and wonderfully made, you bet I am! And Christ is my ultimate validator.
Omg at everyone trying to look the same way!! Thank you for pointing that out😂😂🤭it’s because of what the media is selling. Just as we are to behold Christ so we can all ‘look like him’ the world is also painting an image so people can ‘look a certain way’ that’s being painted. I want to look like me abeg. I love looking like me. Because this is how God made me. Beautifully and wonderfully made. Thank you as always💛☺️
Thank you ma for sharing a piece of you always and this is beautiful 🥺.
No matter what we do, people will always find something to talk about, the main thing is "do you like you"
Ohkay, I love me... I love my low cut 😌. That's one thing people complain about me.. my low cut 😂.

Sis!!! While it’s heartbreaking to read about the experiences you went through, this was so beautifully written! 👏
I’m deeply grateful for your life and for the fact that you know Jesus and His love for you.
I pray that your healing is multiplied in the lives of as many as may be going through similar experience.
Amen and amen. Thank you sweet sis💛🫂
