Grow Through It: Introducing Reflection Notes for Journaling
Reflection Prompts for March
While studying for my master’s at UCL, we were required to do something I initially found a bit… intense. We had to write structured reflections after solving a problem, taking a test, or completing an exam.
As someone who journaled only when I felt like it, this was new to me. I had always seen journaling as a spontaneous, emotional outlet. But this experience introduced me to something different. The idea that there is actually a structured, better way to reflect on my thoughts and experiences and observe how they shape me as a person.
At the time, I didn’t realize it was helping me track my growth. I simply thought it was another way, as an introvert, to process what was going on in my mind. But looking back now, I can confidently say that this practice has shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand then.
And it’s something I’d love to bring into this space.
If you’ve read Moyo’s Diary, you’ll notice how journaling played a huge role in Moyo’s journey, helping her discover herself, grow in her faith, and track her progress in life. That’s exactly what inspired this. So I thought… why not introduce this practice here once a month?
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’m very intentional about the questions I ask, the life I’m building, and the things I give myself to. More importantly, I care deeply about growth, especially learning how to grow well in whatever season we find ourselves in.
As a paid subscriber, you’ll receive a monthly reflection prompt designed to help you pause, process, and grow intentionally. And even if you’re not a Christian, these prompts will still work for you. They’re designed to help you reflect, grow, and become more intentional about your life. Even on the days you may not feel like showing up. These prompts will keep you company and help you to cultivate stillness in the little pockets of time you can find.
For this month only, I’m making it free to give you a glimpse of what to expect when you upgrade.
Don’t forget that the best investment you can make is in yourself.

Thank you for this, Sis. 💗
That first picture looked familiar...and when I eventually placed it, I realised it looked like my PCG lecturer's lecture slide😅.
