If you’re new here…welcome, truly. I’m so glad you found your way here.
This little corner of the internet is where faith meets reflection, where we pause to breathe, think, and grow together. You can read more about me and what this community is all about HERE.
If you enjoy honest musings about God, love, purpose, and the quiet but rebellious art of navigating life as an introvert, you’ll feel right at home. Start with my Black Girl Bloom archive—it’s where I share my most personal thoughts, heart-to-heart reflections and my virtual diary entries.
So, settle in. You belong here. 💛
Have you ever felt a deep longing for spiritual depth in your life? I know I have. There were seasons when reading my Bible and praying felt like insufficient efforts. I wanted more. I longed to experience God beyond routine, to feel His presence, to hear His heartbeat, to see His Word come alive before my eyes. I didn’t want to simply read the Bible as a spiritual activity.
I wanted to live inside it. I wanted to touch God’s soul.
And then, it happened… in a way I never expected. During a quiet, long waiting season, I began to receive words and poems deep within my spirit. They became my love songs to the Lord — raw, intimate, and sincere. It was as if the Holy Spirit was inviting me into His inner chambers, pouring His thoughts into my heart. These words carried me through my days, wrapped me in His presence, and stirred in me a holy anticipation for our next fellowship.
Perhaps you are like me, yearning for more of God, but struggling to find balance in your spiritual life. If so, my prayer is that this devotional becomes a fountain within you. One that overflows into worship, intimacy, and renewed strength. May these words draw you into deeper communion with Jesus. And as you journey through each page, may your soul bloom beautifully, just as God intended.
P.S. You’ll need a journal for this devotional journey — not just for note-taking, but for intentionality. Writing helps you slow down, reflect deeply, and stay away from distractions. If you don’t already have one, try getting a journal as soon as you can. Let it become your sacred space, a place where you record your prayers, revelations, and the whispers of the Holy Spirit along the way.
